Services
While housing approximately 300 inmates at both the county and state level, the Powell County Detention Center offers multiple options for those lodged in our facility to further their education, tackle substance abuse and prepare themselves for a new life upon release.
Additionally, we offer services to our residents for those who may want to make their stay more comfortable. Below are links to partnering agencies who help in that transition, as well as opportunities to contribute to a commissary account, pay jail fees or purchase phone time for anyone currently residing with us.
