Visitation

The Powell County Detention Center no longer offers in-person visitation. To schedule video visitation with a resident of our facility, please access inmatesales.com. 

Visits can be made remotely from your home for a fee, or can be scheduled 24 hours a day via kiosk in the lobby of our facility at no charge to you.

Mail Policy

Powell County Detention Center does not permit inmate to inmate correspondence.

All inmate mail and letters need to come in postcard form.  Not in enclosed envelope.

All legal mail will be opened before the resident and inspected for contraband.

Money orders for commissary may be mailed in a separate envelope and clearly marked as commissary.
